Sigh....they sure don't want to make it easier for artists to make a living on ebay. It is like they would rather just get ride of us entirely. Pretty sad really. I used to like ebay and the whole idea surrounding it, but they are really making it difficult. I still list auctions when I have something new. But it just doesn't make since for me to invest in such a long shot. It is far wiser for me to work on promoting my website rather than a store on feebay.

There's always etsy, though I don't think enough people know about it, yet.

Thanks a bunch for the "heads up" on etsy!

i recently set up a shop on etsy, and though i have only sold one painting so far, it really feels right. Ebay has never set well with me some reason, but etsy really seems like a good way to find the right "audience" for my work...but it might take a little time and persistence. i say give it a try!
(my shop address on etsy is brentwear.etsy.com if you want to have a look.) -

Unsu...
Congratulations on your sale! I have a few things listed on etsy: laurali.etsy.com I tried it before with no results. Out of desperation, I am listing there again.
I am also listing on an australian auction site, aussiebids:
aussiebid.com.au/
It's free to list. They just charge a final value fee. Sellers outside Australia take a little longer to approve but it helps them weed out scammers.
