Hey :) has anyone tried Etsy.com or Artbyus.com auctions for art? i have some clothes up on Etsy, but recently noticed that they have a lot of art work.
The fees are a lot LESS than E-bay. Just curious

Fri, September 30, 2005 - 10:19 PMI've never heard of etsy. I have sold some pieces on artbyus but mostly to buyers I've brought over. Still...it's not a bad deal. If you notify your collectors and get a bid or two, you still aren't paying fees and your items are likely to be on the Hot Items section on the homepage, which gets lots more hits. There's no harm in listing there as long as you either use a reserve or keep the starting bids high enough that you won't be disappointed if the piece sells for that. -

I sold a few paintings on artbyus shortly after it first came into being.
I had no luck with listings thereafter so I haven't listed there in quite awhile.
I think you should give artbyus a try though
