Thank you :-). I live near a Japanese Garden that gives me a lot of inspiration. The one with the pine tree and stone lantern is a composite.

Hi! Great topic...neat to see all the phenomenal talent out there.

I starting selling my husband's tiki style artwork on eBay about two years ago, and we've now sustained an income that allowed us to follow our dream of being gallery owners. Now we run a small gallery for underground, subculture and dark artists and we are still on eBay:

    www.jamio.com (my husband's site)
    www.chambergallery.com (our gallery site)

Thanks for the forum floor. @;-)

    Kind regards,

    Rae and Jamio

Cats! Very nice... I especially dig the flower work under "impressionist. If, in the future, you have a piece like that on sale, please let me know. Web sites are a bitch to maintain... mine is always mostly done. I do work for other people too and that takes my effort.. by the time I get to time I'm tired of looking at it! :) I like your site..and the Japanese motif. Oh.. what kinda paint do you use? jus curious...

I love my poppy paintings and every now and then I'll stop working on a cat painting and do some poppies. I'll definitely let you know next time I paint one. =)

oh I forgot, I use acrylics. I love oils but have no patience for them since I usually sell everything that I paint, it's not condusive to wait for it to be dry enough to ship. Thank god for all the different mediums for acrylics!

I can't wait for the poppies (if your muse is so inclined in the future). Yeah.. I like oil too but not the smell or waiting, waiting for it to dry. I have water-based oils and they are fine but I tend to go back to acrylics as well. I agree on the mediums... very nice. And liquid acrylics are fun too. I will keep and eye on your work ;)

          Thanks!!

I went to your website, now I'm afraid I'm jealous of your capability to draw faces and people. I can't for the life of me. I've tried to do the 'folk art-ish' people even and thought they were horrid. I love the colors in Jerry's Tree Stand!

Thanks! Portraits are my favorite.. I love the attempt to capture something of a person in art. I say attempt but I rarely feel good about the work. I'm glad you liked the treestand... I liked the colors too but most people think it's "too purple!" :)
